1. Download Proteus 7.6 SP4 from here
2. Download Patch and proxy-license from here
3. Make sure you have uninstalled any previous versions of Proteus from your system
4. Install Proteus 7.6 SP4 from setup.exe file. Next->Yes->Next
5. If you didn’t install it before, you will notice that there is no license file exist.
If you installed it before you will automatically find the license.
But ensure that it is valid and not expired. And if it is invalid, you must do the step in the notes bellow.
So, press Next
6. From the dialog appeared select browse for key file.
You will find the license file in the crack folder that you’ve downloaded at step[2] select the license file “Sonsivri”
Then select open:
7. Select install
8. Select Yes then Close
9. Ensure that the Expiry date is 1/1/2030
10. Next->Next->Next->Next
11. Finish

1. Restart your system
2. Disable your Antivirus. Do not panick
License.patch rar file does not contain any viruses.
Its False detection. Do not unpack patch file until antivirus is disabled
3. Paste the file into the Program installation folder in program files: example - "C:\Program Files\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional" 4. Run the Patch file and press Patch Note: for windows Vista and windows 7 you must run it as an administrator by right click on the file and select "run as an administrator". 5. Another message asking for a missing file "82XX.DLL" so, go to "C:\Program Files\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional\MODELS" and point to the file 7. The software works perfectly fine n x64 OS (WIN7).
I have been using it since long time.
If its not running on your system i suggest you to do the following:
1. Delete all registry entries and folders from c: of any previous proteus installations
(I am sure you hadn’t done that… its bound to fail to run)
2. run disk-clean-up utility to clean all temp files and setup logs
3. Re-install

for those who still have problems after following the above procedure:
if you have installed proteus:
$uninstall proteus(type uninstall a program in search box and then click it and then select proteus then click uninstall/change)
$ type disk cleanup in your searchbox and select c drive and then clean it.it will delete your temporary files.
$ then turn off your antivirus(after installation you can turn it on)then use patch…
The reason ypu cannot patch is that your antivirus is on and thats all..

I’ve installed and patched the way instructed here. It works. but when I run the ISIS 7, it only run for 15 to 30 minutes. after that, the ISIS window dissapear. why?? any help please!!

Try leaving it idle for 1 hour and see if it doesn’t disappear – its an issue during runtime – running out of memory or overloading.

I have tried all day long for installing the ISIS.
Downloaded Multiple Setups but the error ” main file updating failed if file is running” kept pooping up.

Manual Process:
On Win7 : search regedit after clicking on the Windows Orb
On Win XP : type regedit at the cmd prompt after clicking run
Use find option using keyterms ‘isis’ and ‘proteus’ and delete each entry
Easier Process:
Use a software tool like CCleaner or Tune Up Utilities or some other for complete uninstall followed by registry cleaning tool.

Im using windows 8 , I installed proteus and then manually inputed the license , when I tried to enter to ISIS it appeared a message that said invalid license , so then I read that I needed to patch the program so Im trying to do that but when i search for the files they ask for it says something like its on use or it cant be found , any ideas how to fix that ?

It could be an improper patching or problem with the dll files. Can’t say for sure.
By isis professional disappears did you mean the window crashes? or something else?

>> Its been also known that certain time-zones settings can crash ISIS. Is your system set to INDIA Time Zone? If not set it at boot-startup.

i have tried all what you have told me to do.the patching is done in the same way what you said and i used dll files fixer too, changed the system display settings the time zone is the same of India time zone, but the problem repeats the isis window would goes invisible after 15-20 mintues and the file does not contains what i done before. would you please tell me any other software where i can simulate the micro controllers. please help me

If old installation is present then simply uninstall it from your computer. The follow the steps below
Download the software and patch from the give links
a. Download Proteus 7.6 SP4 from here >> http://www.mediafire.com/?q0ywmihyngw#1
b. Download Patch and proxy-license from here >> http://www.mediafire.com/?mnqnmiynjmy
c. unrar and begin
1. install setup76 Sp4.exe as administrator
2. next and …
3. go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional\BIN
4. run LICENCE.EXE as administrator
5. select the key Sonsivri.lxk file from its source path
6. after successfull license key installation
7. copy proteus.pro.7.6.sp4-patch.exe onto C:\Program Files (x86)\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional\BIN\ folder
8. run proteus.pro.7.6.sp4-patch.exe the file as administrator
9. patch
10. select yes to browse for 82XX.DLL
11. select the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional\MODELS\
12. select 82XX.DLL
13. open
14. patch complete successfully
15. run ISIS as administrator
16. done.

I tried to install Proteus 7.6 for win7 64bit which has expired licese key which i didnt recognise and tried to install it with expired license key and because of that it didnt install properly… Now I removed all the files related to this proteus… As it didnt install successfully so i didnt found this file in control panel to uninstall… I delete all the temp file and cleaned the disk. Later i downloaded 7.6sp4 and patch file. bt at the time of running the setup it is taking previous license key. And my set up is failed.. So how can i delete my previous proteus license key… Help me… It is throwing the error msg stating that model\ADC083x.dll file is missing

Its most probably due to some file remaining in in your registry.
Delete the folder ISIS or Proteus (Installation folder from progam files or program files (x86))
Go to (Windows 7)Orb -> Search for Regedit -> Go to find option and search for all entries with name ISIS or proteus … keep finding each such entry and delete all of them. Exercise caution because at time ISIS will be found in words like CRISIS … so delete only those with exactly the word ISIS. Run disk clean up after that and restart system then re-install choose a different location like ISIS1 instead of simply ISIS which is the default.

Thank u sooooooooo much for your help…. Finally I successfully finished up with my set up….
I made Two mistakes at the time running the set up 1) I accept expired license, which later i deleted that from registry i.e.C:\Windows\REGEDIT 2) I didnt disabled my quick heal thats y it is blocking my MODELS file to be install…. Now both the issues are resolved… I hope it will work fine….. I learnt couple of things from my mistakes… It feels so g8 wen u achieved something by doing hard work……

Sometimes ISIS.exe remains in background and this creates problems during patching. You may proceed without restart by verifying no process similar to ISIS.exe is active through the process tab in Task Manager

I followed all the steps.Pasted the patch file as mentioned and tried to run it as admin but a distorted window appears and i could manage to read “ISIS.EXE” and nothing happens after that. There a two options below which say patch and about but none of them work. What should i do ??

You have to locate the two files and patch accordingly. please see the process in the post. It could also be an issue with the graphics driver as the window shows distorted for you.

I have proteus 7.6 SP0(I am not sure for SP version) that I have downloaded from this site only. I was working with it since last 6 years on windows XP and windows 7. it was really fine. but now I have windows 8. the software is installed correctly and also runs on windows 8. but after few minutes it terminates and gives error as “ISIS.exe has stopped unexpectedly”.
so please help me.

The trojan detection is a false alarm. It doesn’t get detected with my Kaspersky IS … but gets detected on most free antivirus/ free versions of them like avira, avast, quickheal etc

Common oversights in patching process:
1. Have you disabled your antivirus then started the patching process?
2. Had you copied the patch file as mentioned in process:
Paste the file into the Program installation folder in program files:
example – “C:\Program Files\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional”
Run the Patch file and press Patch
3. Had you started the installer/patching tool as administrator (Right click – > Run as admin)

Not able to pinpoint exactly what error you are refering to but most probably … it is because of corruption of the user profile, sometimes happens for no specific reason. You can try making the circuit from scratch / clearing your proteus & windows temp folders.
A screenshot of the error will be more helpful in troubleshooting.

Try the following :
1. Copy the crack folder to installation directory (as per process)
2. Temporarily disable the anti-virus (after disconnecting LAN/WAN/Wifi/Bluetooth)
3. Clean the temp memory (disk cleanup / cc cleaner /etc) and Retry process.

But just tried to run the patch again and sees in all it writes “CRC32 check failed! nothing patched!” but it writes patch complete at end
